PetMeds: Off to work

PetMeds, a web-based storefront that streamlines getting medication for pets, was looking to do a spot showcasing their 2D mascots, Max and Molly. At the time, the mascots had only been used as static 2D images in traditional broadcast spots. I saw enormous potential to create a fun, memorable 3D world for these mascots to inhabit, one that would help endear them to the busy working professionals that were their primary audience. The agency loved the idea and awarded us the job of transitioning them into the third dimension. The first spot was received well on the broadcast marketing buy, so they commissioned us to create more spots with larger setups as a result.
